What the app handles and why
The short version
The Square Game is published by Team Robison LLC. The app does not require a Team Robison account, show advertising, use developer analytics, track you across apps or websites, or sell personal information.
Information stored on your device
The app stores preferences such as music, sound effects, haptics, reminder settings, tutorial completion, Premium status, daily completions, best move counts, streaks, achievements, and trophies using Apple's on-device storage. Team Robison does not receive this private app state. Deleting the app removes locally stored state, subject to information Apple separately retains for purchases or Game Center.
Optional Game Center
If you use the public Daily Disturbance board, Apple Game Center handles your Apple Game Center identity, leaderboard score, rank, and achievements. Your Game Center display name and score may be visible to other Game Center players. Team Robison does not operate a separate player account database. You can play without joining the public leaderboard.
Purchases
Apple processes the optional Premium Unlock purchase. The app reads Apple-verified entitlement information so it can unlock the full game and restore eligible purchases. Team Robison does not receive your payment-card details.
Notifications, audio, and haptics
A daily puzzle reminder is optional. Notification permission is requested only after you enable the reminder, and iOS schedules it on your device. Music and sound effects are bundled with the app, and haptic feedback is produced locally. These features do not send gameplay data to Team Robison.
Support and this website
If you email Team Robison for support, the information you choose to send is handled outside the app so we can answer your request and keep necessary business records. Visiting teamrobison.com is also outside the app and is governed by the website privacy notice, including its consent-based analytics choices.
Apple services
Apple's handling of App Store purchases, Game Center, and related Apple Account information is governed by Apple's own privacy notices and settings.
